Restaurant Belvedere - Braşov

Absolutely great serving every time, beloved fish plates, dessert and terrine. Loved the vibe and the value for money. With 60 euros you taste five dishes with wine. What I want to see next time is a little more wine... even the price goes a bit high.

Great location with stunning views over Brasov city. Very friendly and attentive staff, delicious food. We're glad we wanted to eat there, it was worth it.

The tasting menu was not served. Menu is interesting, but unfortunately the kitchen has no idea how to make medium rare or medium steak. All steaks of 4 people were done wrong. Wine map is long, but waitress knows nothing about wines. Cost-effective place, but service...and quality does not meet with the price. From the city you will find much better restaurants. Don't waste your money or your time when you come here.

We ate a superb dinner at this elegant place, with fantastic views of Brasov, white table cloth and crisp napkins.The food was superb, like at a 3* place in Paris, but with generous portions and very modest prices for such quality.The service was excellent.We ate soups and fish.We planed to order deserts when we got a tasty cake from the chef.The best restaurant in Brasov.

Every dish we tried (and we sampled many) was perfectly prepared. Inventive but intuitively perfect, sauces were perfectly paired with the meat or fish selected. Portions were generous. Service was courteous, professional but never intrusive. Meals were served quickly & hot but we were never rushed. Vegetables were crisp tender and beautifully presented. Salad greens were picture perfect. Highly recommend selecting the Chef's tasting menu or Chef's choice of Appetizer, (Meat, Seafood or Vegetarian) Main Course. Both times that I put my faith in the Chef's talents were well rewarded with complex & delicious meals. And while I hope I am polite,( & have eaten in many of the best restaurants in the world) I am generally hard to please.. though one must slide the scale a bit by region. By Romanian standards this must seem a high priced restaurant but to us, with a strong dollar, it seemed like incredible value for the price. Romanian wines are new to us, but all recommended bottles were first rate!
