Pleasant atmosphere, nice service, food was tasty

We stayed here after a hike for tea, cakes and newspapers. It is a pleasant environment to sit and relax in comfortable chairs, chat, read and enjoy the artworks on the walls

You will be surprised to find such a high level of cultural events offered in this small village high in the Swiss Alps. Here, a former store was transformed into a cozy café with a family atmosphere, where literature, music photography and interesting people of all classes mix with the locals.

After a hike around Braunwald we went through this reading café and fell in love right away. Such a charming café with warm, beautiful location and ambience with diverse book collections. They served large coffee and sandwiches. Love it!
