Bidra med feedbackRoll Tide! How I found a place in Indiana that was inspired by Alabama is beyond me but I'm so glad I found it. First of all, it is a bar so anyone under 21 is not allowed. The mural on the wall outside is perfect and I was glad to know when I walked in, there was Alabama football decor everywhere. The first lady I saw which was maybe the cook was wearing an Alabama shirt. I already felt like I was at home haha. It turns out the street it is on was named after this bar and grill since it has existed since 1897. The first thing I asked the bartender was if they had fresh brewed sweet tea. I should have known better but I had high hopes for a place named Alabama. The bartender must not have heard the fresh brewed part because later on she told me it came from a machine. The was super strong and made with not real sugar. I really regretted it but it was the worst part of the experience and well, I wish I could teach Hoosiers how to make sweet tea for them to experience why it is liquid gold. I asked the bartender about three choices for my entree the Bama Jalapeno burger, the pork tenderloin sandwich, or the brisket sandwich. The guys at the table next to me both yelled the burger so that is what I went with. This was the best burger I have had in a long time. First of all, it was massive. Second, it was a handmade fresh patty with some excellent seasoning. Third, it may have took a while to cook but that made it better. It was loaded with cheese, fried onions, jalapenos, and Bama sauce. I thought the Bama sauce would be the white BBQ sauce but this variation was orange. It didn't matter because it sure was good on my burger. I ate seasoned waffle fries with my burger which was the perfect companion. The sweet tea was a major disappointment and if this was down south, I would knock a star off the rating for such bad sweet tea. But the burger was epic and that is why it gets a 5 star plus all the Alabama decor and none of that blue orange West Georgia team garbage was in sight.
Great food and great staff. I would recommend to anyone who visits Brazil, Indiana. Especially love the Salmon Salad.
First, Roll Tide! Leaving the National Championship and taking the scenic route home. Well just because we lost the game doesn 't mean that I don 't still love my team!!! So we found this gem of a place! Was so excited to have my Alabama Trip extended by coming here!! Staff is amazing! The Hot Balls are wonderful...ask for the Bama Sauce! Put that on EVERYTHING. The cheeseburger, in the mood for one, get it! Have a hangover, get it!!!
A great place for a burger, homemade chips and buffalo wing salad. We stopped by while cruising Highway 40 thru Brazil. The staff made us feel very comfortable and fed us well. There's a full bar and adequate tv screens to cover all the football games being played. I recommend giving the New Alabama a try.
We recently relocated from Kansas City, MO, to Brazil and were eager to find a place to enjoy dinner while watching the women’s NCAA game. We decided to give Alabama a try, and we were pleased with our experience. The service was attentive, and the food was excellent—far from your typical bar fare. We sat at the bar, conveniently located near the TV, and we've returned twice now. While the bar snacks were impressive, we also enjoyed the wraps and salads. The beer was served cold, and considering how busy it was, the service was surprisingly quick. The only small downside was that our appetizers and main dishes arrived at the same time, but it was a minor issue. Overall, I have a feeling we'll be frequent visitors, though it seems like the regulars might pop in every day!
