Coco's Bakery - Brea

Unfortunately, it's not the Coco's I worked for her company 40 years ago. The food was great and the service was wonderful, but the menu was very much of what I remember. Nevertheless, my father enjoyed his Cheeseburger despite the kind of limp French fries. And we appreciate free cakes on Wednesday!

I have never been to Cocos before. This was my first time. The service was not great. They took for ever to take our order. The Asian chicken salad was really spicy that we had to exchange it. I had the house potatoes and they were just plain small pieces of potatoes with no peppers and onions. Over all the food was not good, the service not good so I know I will not be returning. I didn't even try their pies.

Our server, Angel, was really tolerant. We came in with a very large group, even though we had reservations, no one showed up on time. He quickly got us our beverages and menus and waited until we said we were ready.

The food is 3 ?. Four star is for their pet friendly environment. Food is not enough at all. Although the price is less, but I would prefer get full with one entrée.

Cocos is always one of my go to restaurants......today it was steak eggs ir was very good.....service was a bit slow today but not good enough.
