Vapiano - Bremen

Vapiano is a great restaurant for eating good, gluten free food. It is a GREAT option in Germany it seems to be one of the few GF option chains put there. CAUTION: since it is not a GF only restaurant, cross contamination is possible.

Pizza Rucola ein Gedicht...App zur Bestellung funktioniert seit Wochen nicht! Deshalb nur eine 4 bei der Bewertung...Sonntags geht alles schnell ...es sind nicht viele Kunden da..Salate und Pizzen frisch zubereitet...schade , dass die Technik solange streikt!!! Soll ich helfen????

The season was busy, but most of the people were in the local festival and I think it eased restaurants workload. Given that I was very dissappointed to the service. The place was tidy and fashionable but service was awful. Other workers were nice but the cashier/greeter let us wait for a long time and after that we went to the tables because it is pretty usual way to have the order in. After a another wait we asked the staff that could we finally order and then they explained the way things work around the place. In this point I wasn't irritated at all because soon I would get awesome food..but wait the story doesn't have a happy ending.My wife got pesto basilica and I got Calzone. Pesto was too salty and dry. The other italian places in Bremen were alot better in pastas.. My Calzone was soggy and wetty..usually pizza is like sex - when it's bad, it's still pretty good - but no. I have never had more awful pizza.Cheers to the helpful people and I gave the points only because of the facilities and the effort all the other waiters put in. Still I wouldn't recommend because there are a lot of better restaurants in Bremen.

Overpriced and disappointing alternative to the expected qualitatiw high quality pizza, which is usually expected at vapiano. why have the pizzas taken away from the menu. now they are called pinsa. too much teig, which was quite undercooked.

Vapiano used to be one of my favorite places for pizza in bremen. they serve something called pinsa. it is in the round a dry focaccia with tomato paste melted with something cheese, and it was not as good as. a frozen dr. oetker pizza and is served with a huge sheer and no fork and knife. my favorite Arugula salad is no longer on the menu, so I ordered the ceaser. I could have sworn that it was loaded with iceberg salad because it was mostly white leaves of salats, so I sent it back. Well, that's when the manager first came to tell us it was really romaine lettuce. I didn't want to. I've never got a fork to eat. this manager came back 5 minutes later to give us this huge romaine salate, which was mostly white and yellow to prove that the salat romaine had. long story short, we had a terrible lunch. my 3 years old had spaghetti and tomato sauce, which just tasted weird and sour. oh, and from my 3 years old. a waiter came by and took up the high chair in which she sat so that he can make space to open the windows. He didn't ask us, he just picked them up and moved them. that was just the most bizarre and evil experience I've ever had.
