Excellent location for couples and family in summer. Friendly service, good food for small eats and drinks. Romantic walk through the forest and next to the river; very relaxing place and hidden gem

A hidden gem! This place is famous for brunch though my colleagues and I went in the evening for a celebration dinner. The food was amazing, the location is so quaint and pretty. Not sure how people usually get there but we cycled and then hiked through a forest so that wouldn't be the best route to bring your grandmother... I assume they've another way! It's really special and I'd love to go back for another special occasion. Not overpriced but naturally, in Switzerland, not cheap.

Located along the Aare, this garden center also has a restaurant. In summer one can eat in the garden under the apple-trees or amidst the romantic colorful bushes and alleys at the back of the house. The focus is on natural products, italian-style ice-creams and fresh drinks and on the day of the brunch, they serve the most incredible cheese buffet I have ever seen. This is an excelent place to go in summer with the kids as there is a large sand basin with toys and a lot of space to sit on the grass while the kids plys on the 'sunken ' boat or old tractor.

Beautiful, simple place that invites you to linger. Good menus are tastefully prepared.

The place in and of itself is awesome! But the Zehndermätteli team rounds things off perfectly. Very friendly and humorous service. The menu is very clear and does not offer an exaggerated selection. The dishes are freshly prepared and made from seasonal products. Everything we got tasted wonderful and was very tastefully prepared. It was great fun to eat in the restaurant, we'll be back and bring our friends with us :
