Bidra med feedbackThe best, ingenious bovine breeze and pulled pork! Your maize bread is great and always fresh and moist! Oh yes, good prime country music to go while you enjoy your fabulous meal.
Pros: Good sides, large portions. Cons: Brisket very greasy, almost wet. Like eating a fatty pot roast. Other meats were okay but very ordinary. Overall: Try it once.
What BBQ should be! When you first arrive, the dirt lot and shabby (chic? building let?s you know they are too busy tending to the smoker. And, the aroma tells you they are doing a helluva job on that! We ordered a three meat platter chicken, pork, brisket. We asked for 1/2 pound each. The servings are generous! Half a chicken is only half a pound? Thank you very much. The pork was terrific, no sauce involved. The brisket is divine. It alone would be worth the three hour round trip! Don?t overlook the sides though. Best potato salad ever (sorry, Hon! Creamy cheesy macaroni. The cornbread was worth fighting over. I ordered some ribs to go. Six hours later they were very dry. Perhaps that was my fault? We will return, and when we do, I will give them a second shot. Fresh, next time. Nothing needed saucing, but the House Sweet sauce is so good, you look for reasons to use it!
Definitely the best BBQ around hands down. Sorry not sorry!!! I have tried BBQ at various places in MA and NH and nothing compares to here. Their cornbread is to die for!! Their meats are always so tender. Literally falls apart with delicious goodness. If you haven't been here, YOU NEED TO.
Food was delicious! We got the pulled pork sandwich and it was excellent. Can't wait to come back for the brisket and ribs. Nice place to stop on a summer day
