La Espiguita Bakery - Brentwood

Soup was good, just needed more vegetables. The empanada was ok.

The rice wasnt that tasty and also seemed old, it was crunchy. In addition, they completely forgot the beef I ordered. Ill give them another try, but I sure was disappointed.

Everytime we come to Brentwood, we have to go to La Espiguita! They have so many different Hispanic foods, and desserts. We love the empanadas con carne and cheese ones are great too! Their pupusas are the bomb! And they got tres leches cake, andcheesecakes and all kinds of different goodies. They also have traditional drinks- like Morir Soñando! Their prices are decent,the people are welcoming. The location is right by the road and maybe a sketchy area, but we don't care -we used to live there!

Every time we visit Brentwood, we make it a point to stop by La Espiguita! They offer a wide variety of Hispanic foods and desserts. We absolutely love the empanadas, especially the ones with meat and cheese! Their pupusas are fantastic as well! Plus, they have delicious treats like tres leches cake and cheesecakes, along with many other goodies. They also serve traditional drinks like Morir Soñando. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is very welcoming. The restaurant is conveniently located near the road, which might be in a slightly sketchy area, but it doesn’t bother us at all - we used to live nearby!
