Bidra med feedbackDelightful dining experience. The wood paneled mansion has a variety of dining options from the pub downstairs to the igloos set up on the terrace outside the bar. It being a chilly spring night we opted for the cozy, Roscommon dining room. With its wood fire and a gleaming wood bar, staffed by a cheerful and professional bartender, it was a perfect setting for an intimate dinner for two. The bar tender, Terri, was in the midst of taste testing some new cocktail she had invented and made us a couple of heart and stomach warming concoctions that don't even have names yet. Dinner was scrumptious. Cannot go wrong with oysters in the half shell on Cape! We had a dozen of those with our superb cocktails, followed by the prosciutto wrapped chichen over risotto and the Salmon Rockerfeller. We've been on the Cape 20 years and never stopped into the Ocean's Edge before. Understand it is a mob scene in the summer, but in the off season it is a hidden gem.
My wife and I spent 3 enjoyable nights on a winter getaway at Ocean Edge. They upgraded us to a handicapped room since I was recovering from back surgery. Had two enjoyable dinners and three breakfasts at the mansion. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly.
This was our first time at the Mansion at Ocean Edge. The Mansion itself which has the Reception area, Restaurants and Gift Shop along with a Sitting Room with a Wood Burning Fireplace is absolutely outstanding. Such a beautiful piece of Property. A must is to go into the Roscommon Rood and get a Cocktail and sit in that amazing Sitting Room. You will truly have a hard time picking one of their Restaurants to go to during your visit. First I need to tell you about our checking in at the Reception area. We were greeted by Renee who could not have been more personable in making our stay outstanding. Asking if she could do any research on any places we wanted to visit or any reservations that need to be made or checking or any special requests we might have. The Mansion Wing Premier Room is a beautiful room with its detail to design as well as amenities. I also need to mention that we needed some assistance with our Luggage and they had their “Engineer” nearby. Such a kind and gentle soul and I am sorry I can’t remember his name. Also meeting our Housekeeper from Portugal also, such attention to detail to our room and accommodating any need we had. Lastly, I want to mention Myrna who is the Bartender in the Pub there who was so much fun and again so accommodating to any of our needs or requests. You truly will enjoy this Property and should consider when heading to Cape Cod.
We wen't for my 40th birthday, we sat in one of the outside igloos. Awesome food and friendly staff. The views of sunset are amazing from the deck area , can't wait to go back in the the summer time. 5 stars to Jeff our waiter!!
Everything was wonderful from out initial check-in to departure. Room was ready early so we got to unpack and get settled before heading over to the Spa for services. Massages were awesome and the staff was friendly and accommodating. A 4pm Mixologist experience with Jeff and Kelly was more than expected and a lot of fun! Dinner in our private Igloo was terrific. Food was delish and drinks were fabulous. Once again service was great (Thanks, Charlie! and our evening was made even more special with little niceties from the staff along with a round of singing Happy Birthday. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend a visit. Will definitely be back to check it out during the summer season when things are in full swing :
