Peppinos Pizza - Bridgend

I ordered a large mixed kebab for £10 at a restaurant, but when I got home and started eating it, I realized there was no chicken in it, only doner meat. It was a big rip off.

We regularly order delivery from this restaurant without any issues. However, when we decided to walk in and order food in person after coming home from Cardiff tonight, we encountered a problem. The order was taken without issue, but when we went to pay, we were informed that they only accepted cash. We typically order and pay electronically every week, so we explained that we couldn't pay with cash and would have to leave our food behind. In response, we were insulted and called names as we left the establishment. Upon returning to explain our situation, we were met with more verbal abuse from the woman working there, who clearly has anger issues. I advise everyone to stay away from this restaurant.

I went to pick up my order and was shocked to see one of the employees scratching his beard for a good 15 seconds before handling my pita. Proper hygiene protocols, such as wearing gloves and a mask to cover facial hair, should be in place. This was unsanitary and disturbing. This restaurant deserves to be closed down. I will never eat here again.

Absolute shambles. Ordered at 18:15 delivery confirmed for 19:20.... Several calls of being promised next 15 minutes and at 20:55 when still no sign of food was told food still not even cooked and would be another 25 minutes.. They then wondered why my partner was annoyed. Safe to say order cancelled and won't bother again.

On an absolute whim we Gave Peppino's a go considering they were under new management. We ordered two pizzas and some chicken stripes, and they were all fantastic. Better than the big chain equivalents near by. Can't comment on delivery because we collected, but friendly staff, following all covid guidelines.. Happy to order again in future.
