Five Boys - Bridgeport

I love this place. The blueberry hamburger is the best.

Always a great experience at Five Boys, they have lots of menu options to choose from and their breakfast menu items specifically, are amazing! I love the cozy atmosphere and the outdoor seating is great for a night out. A very relaxed dining experience with incredible food and great service.

Well let me start by saying this use to be a good place. I have had nothing but 3 bad experiences there now. With that said 3 strikes and I am out. I always get the same thing along with my wife. We order steak, salad and potatoes. First off they say there steak was a ribeye and I eat steak a lot and there’s is no ribeye. It is more like a sirloin. So I decided to deal with that. Well we went to eat in one nite and there steak was cold and no flavor at all. Then we tried it a second time and the service was terrible. Well my wife and I chalked it up and said we would call in an order and pick it up. Well we get home and the steak had no flavor and was nasty. On top of it I had to drive back because they did not give our salads. I would say a fast food better place is better food and service than here any more. It’s very sad…. Especially when you pay $75

I was in today for takeout. Unfortunately I will not be back. First and foremost was greeted by a host that apparently does not like her job or just didn’t want to be there, so a rocky start to my take out order. From there we proceeded to place our order. To start off with Fried Pickles then ordered the Brisket Nachos and an Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger. Waited over 30 minutes as the host forgot about it or just didn’t care either way when we finally got our meal and got home, well the meat on my burger was raw the fries were also very soggy. So was unable to eat that I also asked if I could get a side a thousand island dressing of course but didn’t get it. Who puts avocado on the bottom bun first then the meat and cheese . I have always had the meat/cheese then avocado or the lettuce tomato. We also ordered the brisket nachos we asked for extra cheese and they put light cheese. We have come before and the food was good not great but ok good, this time not so much and we will not be coming back. I have always given restaurants chances and this was this particular restaurants third time is a charm chance and it bombed. I would have taken the food back, but it was hot and I was tired and already home so we just threw it away. Hopefully this was just a fluke, and the employees were having an off day. On a good note the fried pickles were VERY GOOD!
