Don 't let the nondescript exterior dissuade you. Take your cue from the busy parking lot. This excellent, no frills, but well run and efficient eatery does indeed serve the tastiest meats ever! Excellent selection of cold and hot buffet items (for non meat eaters), but best to keep these portions small (if at all) because you don 't want to run out of plate space by the time you get to the barbeque section. There 's a large selection of meats thank goodness for the posted sign of what 's what. We tried the brisket, sirloin, bacon wrapped chicken, spicy pork sausages, and chicken wings. Delicious!!! Plate is weighed and charged accordingly. Lunch for two with drinks came to just under 20. Great value for . Left very satisfied and ready for an afternoon siesta!

Very fresh food, deliciuos if you like Brazilian food. The meat very tender and flavorful. All the staff was really friendly and helpful. The place itself was clean but not too many people, not music and bright light. I personally was not looking for a fancy restaurant, it was more family oriented than fancy for sure. A great place to have a fresh and deliciuous food, very clean!!!

Don’t expect your normal Brazilian steakhouse. I was looking forward to eating here as it was my anniversary and my dads birthday. The other Brazilian restaurant we usually go to in new haven closed permanently and the others were too far. WARNING: This is a full self service restaurant. This is NOT your ordinary Brazilian steakhouse where someone seats you, brings you drinks, utensils and Brazilian cheese bread. We walked in with baby in arm and the staff just stared at us. I finally asked one of the waiters/staff if we can sit and she finally told us yes you can sit anywhere and take your plate and serve yourself. I should’ve walked out based on that but I decided to give it a try. I was furious when my husband, with our baby in his arm, had to grab the high chair from the front of the restaurant because there are no servers or waiters and they simply wouldn’t do it for us. Do not go do not recommend if you are use to the nyc style of Brazilian steakhouses. Toro in new haven was the best but unfortunately it closed firing the pandemic.

It is a small unassuming restaurant with freshly cooked meats in the rotisserie. Two starts because their food was very very salty, so it it was difficult to enjoy our food; the meat and the beef stew in particular. The rice beans and potato salad were very tasty. The bathrooms were clean and the people that took your order were very nice. If your food is not enjoyable because of too much salt it makes it difficult to eat and give you a good review; you are a restaurant, and your food is expensive at almost $11.00 USD per pound.

Terra brasílis is one of our favorite places to eat. my son and I always stack the food up and make a few meals out of it.
