Mccormick Schmick's Seafood Bridgewater

1) The server seemed completely disengaged from our table, making everything feel like a struggle and the service painfully slow. 2) My wife wanted a dish from the menu that was suspiciously unavailable, yet there were similar options at a higher price — what’s up with that? 3) While my wife's food was enjoyable, mine was excessively salty. 4) We waited nearly an hour for our meals to arrive. 5) A manager didn’t check in on us until it was time for our check and loyalty points. Although the manager apologized and we appreciated it, we couldn’t help but wonder where they and the rest of the management were during our meal. 6) We've dined here before and had positive experiences, so I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and attribute this to an off night and an unfortunate choice in server.

I’ve always had a great experience dining here. The staff is consistently friendly, and the quality of the food along with the extensive cocktail selection is impressive. The prices are in the moderate to expensive range, and the indoor atmosphere has a vibrant energy. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We decided to try the date night menu that appeared in my email earlier that day, and I'm so glad we did! It was a fantastic deal, as it included a bottle of wine, a choice of salad or soup, an entrée, and a delicious shared dessert. The lobster bisque was exceptional, and although we visit M&S a few times a year, this was our first time trying it. My husband ordered the filet mignon, which was cooked just right, and I had the salmon, which was also perfectly prepared. For dessert, we enjoyed a delightful creation of white chocolate mousse encased in dark chocolate, served with berries. We chose the Chardonnay from the wine options and found it to be very enjoyable. The service was attentive—though it should have been, as the restaurant was not very busy on the weeknight we visited. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience!

The food was great. Our server was very nice, but spread very thin. He did his best to keep up, but you could tell he was hurried. The only problem was the screaming mother and her screaming kid at the table diagonal from up! OMG!!! The boy was probably 8-10, old enough to know better and the mother sounded like a banshee! It really put a damper on the evening. Do us all a favor, leave your bad mannered kids at home. We’d like to enjoy our dinner.

Been to other M it was not (surprising-maybe others knew what I now know). Oysters were overpriced and just so-so. Entries were good, but noting outstanding. Maybe awhile before I go back to this chain as there are many other options.
