Bidra med feedbackWe visited the restaurant several times, but after our last experience of poor service and food, we decided to give it another chance. Unfortunately, the experience was even worse than before. Both my son and I ordered carbonara, which was swimming in grease and had barely any sauce. The waitress acknowledged this and offered to replace it, but the alternative dish took a long time to arrive, and by the time it did, my wife had already finished her meal. Additionally, my wife’s chicken dish was unsatisfactory, as it was extremely dry. Being a type 1 diabetic, she had very few options and had to eat what was available. We will not be returning and would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was a very disappointing experience!
The atmosphere was lovely, with pleasant music appropriate for birthdays, but there were several issues. They couldn't find my reservation, so I had to show it to them on my phone. The service was slow, and our meals arrived at different times. Additionally, there was a mistake with the bill, where I was incorrectly charged twice for the same dish. My son's meal was dry, so he ended up eating mine. Overall, I won't be returning.
After about 10 minutes, we were seated. While our drink and food orders were taken fairly quickly, our starter took an unusually long time to arrive, especially considering that other tables, who were seated after us, received their appetizers before we did. When our main courses were finally served, I realized I had no cutlery! I attempted to flag down a staff member to ask for some, but after receiving no response, I had to borrow some from the table across from us. When we finished our main courses, we asked for the bill. Unfortunately, when the waitress brought it to us, a glass of wine accidentally spilled all over me, shattering and scattering pieces everywhere. Once again, we struggled to get anyone’s attention for help. Overall, we were very disappointed with the service that night. While the food was quite good, our experience left us feeling reluctant to return anytime soon, despite having enjoyed dining at the Merry Hill Frankie & Benny's in the past.

The service was slow, and the food that we ordered together came out at different times. Additionally, the bill was incorrect, as they charged me twice for the same meal. My son found his food dry, so he ended up eating mine. Overall, I don’t plan on returning.

Thankfully, a lady from a nearby table kindly offered me some spare cutlery. After finishing our main courses, we requested the bill. Unfortunately, as the waitress placed it on the table, a glass of wine was knocked over me, shattering into many pieces. Again, we couldn't get anyone’s attention to help us with the mess. Overall, we were very disappointed with the service that evening. Although the food was quite good, our experience was marred by the poor service. We dine at the Merryhill Frankie & Benny’s frequently, but I believe it will be a long time before we return. Mrs. C. Foley
