North Street Cafe - Brigus

Stopped in for an early lunch and had the place mainly to ourselves. Our server was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. The food was good and arrived quickly. I would not hesitate to eat here again when in the area.

My family and I (a group of ten) had a late lunch at the North Street Cafe eariler this week. We were seated right away and happy that food was brought out quickly. Server was friendly. All wore face masks and kept their distance as...much as possible. Everyone, including the kids, liked their meals. I had already eaten lunch, so I only ordered the blueberry ginger cake with caramel sauce instead. It was delicious. Rated because tables were not allowed to be combined to give us more space and only one high chair is available in the restaurant.

We have been going to North Street Café for of work Christmas Dinner for several years and we have never been disappointed. The food is delicious,the service is wonderful and café is spotless. They decorate the café beautifully for Christmas, there is a beautiful Christmas...tree, the fire place is burning and in each window is a candle when dining there it takes you back to another place in time.

Dropped in for lunch with a couple of friends. Food was outstanding, had Trio meal, small soup, small salad and half a sandwich. The turkey soup was wonderful, lovely fresh salad and not a bad sandwich. Service was also outstanding, with the owner and waitress...being extremely friendly and efficient. Had a great conversation with the owner, who took the time to explain local things to us. Would definitely call in again if in the area.

Considering the connections with the UK and Ireland, I've found it hard to get a decent cup of tea in Newfoundland so I was delighted that my search was finally over! Tea in a teapot, and a vintage china cup and saucer with milk not...creamer. The upside down rhubarb cake was pretty good too.
