La Sciabica Antica Osteria - BRINDISI

Excellent evening for a couple date night. A small and picturesque restaurant from the main harbour. Osteria La Sciabica has not disappointed with the service and meal. Once sitting, we were quickly given warm bread and slices of carved meat. The menu was in Italian, but thanks to Google Translate it was easy to overcome (An opportunity for the restaurant to invest in QSR code menus). All meals that came were really good and big portions. The dessert and ice cream were made fresh and you can taste the taste. Had some nice bottles of 72100 Negromaro. The ambience is really beautiful and the remaining rooms are extremely cleaned and well maintained. I recommend that no one sleep in this restaurant, although it is far from all other restaurants and main stripes of food options.

Super fresh seafood saw the fishermen catch our eyes. Best Calamari I had melted in my mouth.

This place is a bit difficult to find and you may pass it by unnoticed, but the place has a good reputation for nice food. Booking in advance is usually required. It is also one of the few restaurants in Brindisi that doesn't offer (cheap) house wine, but instead has as good selection of 10 euro+ a bottles wines. The place has a good selection of food, but doesn't offer a menu in English. At summer time, the roof terrace gives a nice view over the harbour.
