Bamboo Basket Chinese - BRISBANE CITY

I absolutely love Bamboo Basket! The atmosphere is relaxed and authentically inviting. The staff are wonderful and efficient. Most importantly, the flavors of the dishes are exquisite, with each one tasting distinct from the others. The sticky rice chicken dumplings are one of my favorites, and the BBQ pork pancake is also a standout. If you can't finish your meal, you can request a takeaway, which is fantastic. I think they could enhance their drinks menu by adding some cocktails and other options. Other than that, I would gladly dine here any time!

Great restaurant at Portside. I had the sweet and sour pork, which was fantastic. My partner ordered the black bean beef, but it wasn't very spicy and fell short of expectations, especially considering the relatively high prices. We dined outside, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The service, however, was outstanding.

The star of the evening was definitely the Boiled Fish Fillet with Sichuan Pepper in Spicy Broth. Even though the fish wasn't freshly filleted from live fish, the frozen fillets still managed to provide that delightful, sweet flavor. Alongside the fish, the Prawn in Singapore Style served with steamed flour buns was also impressive. The sauce tasted just like what I had when I enjoyed Crab in Singapore Style earlier this year in Singapore. When you soak the bun in the sauce, it adds to the overall satisfaction of the dish… I highly recommend it!

Not bad, not bad. We went to Bamboo basket at Portside this morning, the food was quite nice and very reasonable. We choose food from the dim sim menu, yum Cha style.They don't do Yum Cha the traditional way with trolleys, instead you just pick things off the menu. They also don't do custard tarts, but other than that the food is pretty good.

Food is tasty and fresh and the servings are generous I shared the seafood fried rice with a friend and we still couldn't finish. Dumplings and deep fried squid were also really good!
