Bidra med feedbackDesperately searching for cheap breakfast after my workout I spied this cute little, hole in the wall sushi joint underneath the 40 Creek Street building.
This used to be one of the best value sushi places in the CBD, but over the past year the prices have been going up, and the size of the rolls becoming smaller. They used to be between $2 - $2.50 a roll, and just noticed today the prices have been raised to $2.80 a piece for most of the sushi. They have a monopoly on the area in terms of not much choice for lunch options and guess they are cashing in.
Sushi Is not bad but never to good. Is just the price that is reasonably good when normally is $2.8 they are selling $2.5 each. Plus even if u order a rice bowl is still within $10 pretty good for cheap lunch option.
Almost closing time when I dropped in to grab a late lunch. Edemame and pickled salad as well as several varieties of hand rolls still available. I chose teriyaki salmon.., lots of filling and only $2.50 each. Some seating available if you want to sit and eat.
