Chinese BBQ Heaven - Brisbane

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The skewers and deep fried chicken rice were delicious. The staff were very friendly and the place was exceptionally clean, which is not always the case in Chinese restaurants. Please excuse the half-eaten food in the photo, I couldn't resist digging in.

This small restaurant near the central train station comes highly recommended by some of my Chinese friends from Beijing. I was pleased to find that the prices were very reasonable, and the BBQ flavor was authentic, just like what you would find in Northern China. We ordered BBQ lamb kebab, beef, pork belly, chicken wings, and stir-fried vegetables (not too keen on the others, just personal choices). I requested medium spice level, which was just right. The meat was tender and delicious. My only suggestion would be to ask the chef to go easy on the salt, as dishes in Northern China tend to be saltier than those in the south. Overall, a great spot for a Chinese lunch.
