Bidra med feedbackCan have a wait time to get a seat at dinner time, but best ramen I have had. Shio Cha shu is defiantly my favourite here. Followed by black garlic and fish soup. Miso soup is good too as it has corn in the stock. If you don't like egg, you can ask for them to take it out.
Honestly the best ramen I've ever had. The staff were lovely but you are kinda left to fend for yourself but the food is beyond worth it. You can add extras to your ramen and its quite cheap.
Tonight we were in Toowong and decided to stop at Genkotsu for a ramen fix. We had the spring rolls, chicken karaage, Miso ramen and Vegan ramen. The spring rolls were ok, quite similar to those you can buy at the supermarket but were crispy and for less than 4 dollars are not a problem. 3/5 The chicken karaage was crispy juicy and well seasoned. For 6 dollars they're quite a bargain would easily give a 4/5. The Vegan ramen was the best one my partner has tried her in Brisbane, despite the noodles could be a bit harder ( guess they are softer because they are egg free) it's still a strong option for a vegan. 4/5 The Miso ramen had a strong pork flavour and was quite oily and heavy which made it impossible for me to finish my soup. Also, my noodles came stuck together and by the time I was able to unstuck it my soup was not as hot as I'd have liked anymore. 2/5.
Definetely the best ramen place I experienced to far! The broth is rich and tasty and I really appreciate the gluten free and vegetarian options they recently added. Our favourite place in Toowong!
Free flow noodles ???? so why not ehh not expensive at all for those who crave for noodles once a while❤️✨There are no limits for the amount of extra noodles so you can have as many extra noodle as you like as long as you are not sick of it!!!
