This establishment has been a solid part on the China town/ valley nightlife. Catering for everyone this BYO establishment is a friendly and lively restaurant catering for a celebration, birthday or just because is good food. This is not fine food but definitely pleases most tastes. With a bottle shop 30m away your night is set- sit back with friends/ family/ other and enjoy.
Well what can I say? I was expecting a nice Chinese meal on a Sunday evening with my friends but it turned out to be a disaster. The food not only looked terrible but it tasted terrible and I can safely say I will never be back and would never recommend anyone to go and waste their money in there! The chicken looked like toilet roll and it tasted like it came from the toilet!
This was the only a few restaurant opened this Friday, very strange for Friday night in China town. It maybe a faith, it was just what we are looking for, good hot noodle soup in cool night.Duck noodle (egg noodle) for my wife, seafood noodle ( Shanghai noodle) for myself. Duck was bit tough & less meat but seasoning was nice & noodle was how it should be.First time on Shanghai noodle, light but had a back bone. Seafood were very fresh, squid, scallop, prawn & fish. Soup base was fantastic. We definitely will go back to try other dishes.
I have dined here twice recently and both visits were enjoyable. The first time, we called in to this restaurant as part of a food tour. There were a variety of meals to try on a tasting platter and I could recommend them all. The service was excellent. The second visit was a friend's choice. She ordered Char Kway Teow and I ordered Mongolian Beef. Both meals were great. They have a good selection of Chinese/Malaysian dishes. The decor is dated but clean and typical of a Chinese restaurant. Toilets are down a funny little alcove and also relatively clean.Chinatown is looking a bit sad at the moment with many shops closed/sold. Watch out for a major development in this area. Let's hope the good little shops can remain so that we can continue to explore.
