Bidra med feedbackYUM! Awesome to see a restaurant open after 8pm on a sunday with most closed...Arrived with our own wine and ordered the peking duck 2 ways - with pancake and san choi bao. Took a while to arrive so we ordered the fried green beans that were so tasty. The duck worth the wait, crisp and tender and perfectly cut, displayed and warmed. There would have been 10 pancakes, amazing. Then the rest of the duck was mixed into san choi bao and was perfect, crisp, fresh and bouncing with flavours, 4th time here, next time order the duck 3 ways (2 ways $59)
We had dinner here twice while we were staying in Fortitude Valley. Service was great, lady owner explained all the dishes we had no idea about. Food was really good, so we came back again. Chicken dumpling entree was awesome. Would recommend for Chinese food on a budget. Great value for money
We needed takeaway food for five on a Sunday night and Tripadvisor reviews helped us find it. We met a friendly local who was already ordering and confirmed that Peking Duck was the right choice. We added honey king prawns and pork char siu and with special fried rice and boiled rice we were all well fed for $112. The duck comes with slivers of skin (with a little meat) for pancakes and the rest of the duck in several ways for $65. Yee Foong is great value and we all received a free apple for dessert.
Great food and service. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Host suggested a banquet which had lots of variety - all good. Thanks Helen for an enjoyable and tasty lunch.
Great duck, the service from the owner was good, she was sweet. It lacked atmosphere as we were the only ones there. But that was probably down to the time of day.
