The Colosseum - Bristol, City of

I dropped by on Friday night to this recently reopened restaurant and it is definitely worth checking out. They have invested a lot of money into the place. It's a great time with a late-night license.

I recently visited this restaurant with a group of 18 people. The location is fantastic, with both outdoor and indoor seating areas that are spacious and beautiful. The restaurant has been recently renovated and looks great. The food was delicious, with small tapas dishes that were excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant stays open late if you want to stay for more drinks. I highly recommend a visit.

I brought a friend to this restaurant for his birthday dinner on a Sunday, expecting British traditional pub food. However, they did not serve anything of the sort. We each had a pint of cider for £4.95 and were disappointed with the quality. I would appreciate it if someone could explain what 'Colosseum' cider is and who manufactures it. In the end, we left after just one pint and went to The Ship for Thatchers cider at a more reasonable price of £3.70 a pint. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

A great newly refurbished place to go after work, to meet other professionals

I visited The Colosseum for the first time on Saturday 11th May with 2 friends. It was great. We had 9 different dishes from the menu. All the food was delicious, lovely fresh flavours served nice a hot. We enjoyed a bottle of prosecco which was fresh and crisp. Perfect for a warm evening. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. I look forward to returning.
