Bidra med feedbackIts Forest Hill is difficult with parking. I walked by on a hot day and felt this place had good air conditioning so I sat down and made one of the worse decision in my life. Not only was the food not good, it was expensive. The beer batter taco was acceptable but the price doesn't justify the portion served. I would have eaten a seafood buffet for the price else where It was very unsatisfying. There are many food trucks serving more delicious food than here.
The place is new, well decorated, and stylish. Food was good. However the retro table that we were set at, needed a good wiping. It had brownish stains that were pretty easily coming off, once touched. The staff was nice and attentive, however the seating wasn?t the most comfortable. Stools that have no back part aren't the most inviting. In general we liked the visit, but I don't think I will come back.
I would come to this place for the crispy fish tacos only, they are very similiar to what I used to eat in Baja California Mexico so I'm very happy to find them here. The prices are a little on the high side but coming here once in a while is a treat. I have to try more things on the menu but I'm sure everything is very yummy. Esquites are good, only that the yellow corn gives it a little of a sweet flavor, but kudos to them for having such a traditional Mexican street food
I was so ecstatic to finally eat here. I have been looking forward to a truly authentic Mexican eatery. The atmosphere of this venue transports you to a taqueria in Mexico. The beautiful tile work, sky lights, and exposed ceilings serve as a bright and airy backdrop to the delicious food. One of the things I love about this place is that you can watch the chefs prepare the plates, as the kitchen is set right in the middle of the dining area. Each meal is gorgeously plated and
Love the authenticity. The tortilla chips were my favorite part, you can always tell a good Mexican spot from another based on the chips. Tried the Baja fried fish, carne asada and Al pastor. Hands down favorite was al pastor then the Baja fish. Price is higher then a typical taco spot but it?s worth the splurge.
