The Campbell - Broad Channel

Beautiful place. Sat at the bar for ten minutes. Bartender never looked up. Decided to leave. Will give it another try. But not to have a bartender who knows about customer service is a bad sign.

Classic vibe done right. Tucked away in a quite corner of The GCT, The Campbell is old world charm. Such a Manhattan staple that is elegant and cool at all times. Drinks and ambience are timeless

Worst table in the house. Asked to move to this empty table and it was no no no. It is reserved for 6:45. The conversation was at 7:10. Still not body there and we are stuck at corner. Rude hostess, and the waitress followed. Shame, used to be fabulous.

Beautiful room very friendly staff. The prices seemed high, but everything in nyc seems high to Midwesterners. Make a reservation if you want a table during happy hour.

Quality of the cocktails depends on how busy it is it seems. Had an amazing old fashioned at one point and a terrible the second time (basically bourbon on highly diluted rocks). Hopefully they can maintain the consistency.
