Vibes 2 - Broad Channel

This was my shrimp and grits meal. I bought it on Uber Eats and it was $18.95, then with all the fees and tip, $29. It smelled horrible as if the shrimp were rotten. When I counted the shrimp, I had a whopping 5, regular, medium shrimp?. For $18.95?. In apool of grits. I won?t ever be ordering from this restaurant again.

So disappointed with the food here. The macaroni and cheese was nothing but broiled noodles and melted cheese no seasoning. Vegetables must be for people on a non sodium diet again no seasoning. Fried shrimp look so good until you taste they have noflavor! $25 went to waist! How can we support local businesses if they don?t care what they serve us. They need to do a tastetest daily before serving the food daily

I typically enjoy ordering from Vibes, but this time I was a bit disappointed. The food felt rushed. The Salmon Dinner was decent, but it tasted more like lemon-infused salmon than anything else. The macaroni and cheese was underwhelming—it seemed like it came straight from a box. However, the Fried Wing Dinner was great; the yams were perfectly cooked and delicious, and the wings were tasty as well. The mashed potatoes were good, too. Despite this experience, I plan to continue ordering from here, as this was just their first misstep. In my opinion, this is still the best soul food around.

I always get the salmon and mashed potatoes, which consistently earns a perfect 10/10. However, whenever I try the turkey wings, they tend to be dry. The rice lacks flavor and is also dry, and the string beans are neither moist nor flavorful. Overall, I would rate that dish a 2 out of 10.

I visited Vibes with a friend for the first time. The food was quite good; I had shrimp, mac and cheese, and steamed vegetables. The only issue was that the shrimp were served cold. Overall, I would definitely return to Vibes!
