Afters Original - BROMLEY

My family visited this restaurant on Monday, August 29th at 9:45pm to get some ice cream. There were 6 of us, including a twin pram. We asked if we could sit at a larger table due to the pram, but a man told us we couldn't. We were very disappointed and will not be returning. This place is not family or mom-friendly. I do not recommend it.

It has been hard to find a comfortable place to have a coffee and relax with my laptop after 5pm in Beckenham as all the coffee cafes are closed at 5pm due to the Covid 19. However I came across this lovely hidden Gem of a place. I explain to the staff that I did not have a sweet tooth and could it be possible to sit down and have a coffee instead. The staff were very kind and allowed me to sit in a very comfortable seating area. I had a lovely coffee. I also checked if there was anything else I would eat in the meantime. It was a pleasant surprise to have a freshly made crepe with fresh cream. It was just lovely and not sweet. The staff were very nice and made up a snack of choice for me. This is a great place to go it was spotlessly clean and so were the toilets. The Ice Cream Parlor had a great selection of dance videos on which brightened up the visit. I will be going back next week.

The afters in Beckenham is by far the worse shop ever. They accept orders on Ubereats then put whatever they want in your food. They don’t consider notes or allergies. I will be reporting them as they could kill someone. They do not answer their phones as I’ve been calling for more than 3 days and I’m sure I’ve left over 60 missed calls! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! WORSF CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Don 't bother trying to eat here they are thieves. They accepted my order and then marked it as delivered...and It never arrived! Then when I tried to call them, the phone line was engaged ...for almost 3 hours!?!? Very dishonest and didn 't even bother to call back to sort the issue. Luckily ubereats sorted it out on their behalf. Apparently they 're too lazy to sort customer issues themselves. Steer clear of this company.

Took my children for a treat, was pretty disappointed. The tables were sticky and the staff more interested in speaking to one another than speaking to customers.
