Bidra med feedbackUsed to be so nice to eat here. Food gone downhill. Service good, but for the price yiy pay yoy expect good curries, naans and starters. Very oily, tastless and dry and thick naans! Definitely avoid
Shocker Where do I start, ordered drinks when we arrived at7.45pm and took 20mins to arrive but ok they were busy. Then I had to ask if we could order food. Starters came but were Luke warm.Order second drink only again to wait 30mins for this.Waited then another hour or more for mains to come eventually me and kids were eventually eating but kids appetite had well and truly gone at this stage. Some food never arrived at all. Service was so poor.
Exceptional food and fabulous service, will definitely visit again and absolutely recommend 5 stars
It was my birthday and we arrived as a party of 6 for 8pm. We ordered mains around 8.30 as they were a long time coming to take our order for drinks etc. We had some poppadoms while we waited and then sat back and waited for our mains.. We waited, and we waited and we waited and then had to go and ask where they were and was told another 5 mins. This was at 9.15pm..! At 9.40pm the meals finally arrived.. Totally unacceptable and we were toying with the idea of leaving by this time. 3 meals were passable, my meal was cold and had to go back for reheating and when it was returned after a good 15 mins it was hotter, but not very nice. The chicken was chewy and there wasn't much of it.. Two other meals were mediocre to say the least and there was hardly any food. We had ordered garlic naans of which only two arrived with the meals. One arrived not tasting of garlic at all and was dry and the strangest naan that ever was..I've seen better in supermarkets. My naan never turned up at all..! We gave up and left immediately we had finished our food, some of which was eaten only because we were hungry. We finally left this place, that we will never return to at 10pm.. Never have I seen such bad service in a restaurant and I've been to a few. My birthday treat was ruined. Thank goodness they accepted that we would only pay half the bill. No way were we going to pay full price for that. Apparently, they were having trouble with their naan bread oven, but at no time did they come and explain the problems they were having and never asked whether we were enjoying the food. I think they probably realised that we weren't, or were uninterested. Unbelievable...
Simply the best traditional, home style curry. The restaurant is a bit quirky in an old cottage in Clent, but that adds to the experience! We've sat in and had takeaways (depending on tiers and lockdown differences in recent months) always top notch food.
