Emilia's - BRONX

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was excellent and well-served. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The background music featured pop classics, which I enjoyed much more than rap or hip hop. As for gluten-free requests, the restaurant handled them confidently and without any fuss, which is refreshing for an Italian establishment. Plus, it's conveniently located in the heart of Little Italy on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx.

This is a decent restaurant, and I would consider returning under the right circumstances. The hostess was pleasant and did her best to ensure we were seated on time, as we had a reservation, and that we were comfortable. However, she was held up by a large party that lingered for over four hours, which delayed her greeting us. As a result, we chose to sit outside at a table near the restroom. Although it was cool outside, the heat lamps made it more comfortable for us than being at a cramped table by the bathroom. The service was average, with more attention given to larger groups. The entrees we ordered were quite good, particularly the saltimbocca and the beef braciola. Unfortunately, the stuffed artichoke appetizer was disappointing, as it was overcooked and coarse in texture. One thing to note is that parking can be challenging. There is a paid parking lot nearby, which is quite affordable, but it has limited spaces. If you can’t find a spot there, it could be quite difficult to find street parking.

The food is delicious, and the service is friendly and pleasant.

The front door, although there was a vestibul between the outside door and the inside door, had to remind her to close the outside door. too long between apps and main course, like 30 minutes. 5 dinners came to the table at once and the 6th came like 3-4 minutes later and it was best warm.

Loved this restaurant. Casual, warm and friendly…. Linen table clothes that give it a quiet elegance and the food was delish. Great spot among so many choices at Arthur Avenue.
