Mexicana Deli Grocery - BRONX

Best Mexican food in this area. I always get excited to find deli's like this one. They make Mexican food and sell Mexican produce. All their produce is amazingly fresh. I went with 5 people and we were able to sit and eat. The wait for the table was pretty long but worth it. This is a very small place and when it gets packed people get very upset, because there is no space to move. Its understandable why the waiter may get frustrated. However she can still be a little nicer. This is a very good place to get Mexican food at. I will definitely come back for food. They have the best pozole ive had and I don't even like white pozole. The maize literally melts in your mouth, I love me a tasty broth. Also had tlacoyos with red and green sauce and they were delicious. I regret not having a a torta because they also looked amazing. Good excuse for me to come back.

Somebody's mama needs to smacked(with a kiss) for this delicious, fresh flavorful food! I'm originally from Chicago.... we know about good food! The chicken nachos were like culinary crack! This is now my near the apt mex spot.....thank ya Lawd!

The food is delicious and made to order. I have nothing bad to say about it, except that it is small and there is no restroom. It would be awesome if it was more spacious, as there are only two tables. Prepare to get the food to go if there is no space to eat. They also sell lots of Mexican food products, and frozen desserts like Mexican popsicles and other things. They have candy and sweets as well. I have gone a couple of times and introduced friends to the spot. Enjoy:
