Fantastic service. They always greet with a smile and are so happy to show one what they have. The cheese is fantastic they let you sample before you buy and they give recommendations based on taste. Strongly recommend.

Dobbs and Bishop is a real Bronxville treasure! When it was new I went in and asked if they had Gjetost (Norwegian goat cheese they did, and I've been going there ever since. The owners really know how to run this business right. They carry a wide a variety of things in addition to cheese perfect for party planning. Try some of the samples. They even have pastry and specialty ice cream by the quart. Kevin and his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They always help me pick out just the right cheese for a gift, or for myself. I love to come in to pick up something for lunch. The small paninis are fantastic. They make 2 different kinds every day. Get one of each! There's always a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches too. You want the best macaroni and cheese since Mom's homemade they've got it. (Just ask the school kids or me! It's made with a nice combination of grownup cheeses. They have fresh lemonade or iced tea in the summer, Look for occasional events such as wine and cheese tastings. One time they had a demonstration of raclette, a special cheese from Switzerland. Go to Dobbs and Bishop once and I can guarantee you'll be back!

My favorite cheese shop! The staff is always friendly and provides excellent recommendations. You can't go wrong here—everything in the store is absolutely delicious.
