Enjoyed a perfectly prepared fresh fish piccata and warm spinach salad. They also had some amazing sounding specials for the day! Generous pour of port to top it off. Don’t miss this unassuming gem on the Main Street of Brookings. You won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful food in a intimate setting. Excellent advice from the staff.

Pretentious little joint charging high prices. Met at the door by a ‘manager/waiter’ with an attitude. Told us he’d try to squeeze us in a ‘lot of reservations.’ Truth everyone was a walk in. Caesar salad was ok. They served a cake bread w oil/vinegar (not a good combination). Cod was over cooked, over flavored on cheap spaghetti. Beef stroganoff beef was tough and the sauce too ‘milky.’ V expensive. Should have left w the ‘Greeting.’

We were visiting from San Jose. We really liked the specials. The food was very good.

Black Trumpet Bistro is a quaint restaurant and a must for any foodie going through Brookings (OR)! Best to arrive upon opening for easier seating although their food is worth the wait! Excellent service and food. A must for locals or visitors to the area!
