Cheeseboat - Brooklyn

Terrible. Do not go. We went and were seated at the worst table that was squeezed between the bar and the kitchen, with waiters walking by and brushing up on you every time they passed by. This is when the restaurant was half empty. Then we didn’t get a menu for 15 minute and only got one after the waiter came over asking if we were ready to order. Horrible. Been in NY for 30 years and have never had worse service than this place.

My husband and I were just visiting NYC and had not eaten Georgian food before.Drinks were interesting and yummy-so was the food.The staff were friendly.I would gladly go there next time we visit NYC.

The restaurant was great! The servers were helpful and made the experience pleasant. The restaurant layout is a bit tricky for groups larger than 6, but they accomodated my group of 6. It was a bit tight, but they made it work. The food was fantastic and delicious! There was a kompot drink that was delicious that I had for the first time!

I had the basic Cheeseboat and it was amazing. Cheese and egg in bread has no business being culinary revelation. It's like no other dish, a complete change of pace. If I'm going to eat in that section of Williamsburg I'm going to Cheeseboat.

I’ve been here three times, and find it incredibly satisfying. There’s nothing else quite like it in Williamsburg.
