Bidra med feedbackThis is a wonderful restaurant with plenty of happy customers both inside and outside. The waitstaff was attentive, polite, and charming. The menu offered a comprehensive selection of traditional Peruvian dishes. I came specifically for some good ceviche, and it did not disappoint; the flavors were spot on, and the sides were delightful. The lomo saltado was flavorful and tender. The portion sizes were just right, not overwhelming. My only minor issue was that the pisco sour didn't quite meet my expectations for the price, but that's a small blemish on an otherwise fantastic dining experience.
8 PM on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was bustling! We received a warm welcome from the owner and were quickly seated. After placing our order, the food arrived promptly. I had the Lomo Saltado, paired with fried plantains, and finished it off with a refreshing passion fruit mojito—delicious! The wait staff was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to return!
I had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and lively, with enjoyable music that wasn’t too loud. I tried a delicious passion fruit mojito mocktail that was just right for my dry January. For dinner, I had the Lomo Saltado, which was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place, whether you're with friends or flying solo!
Decent place to grab a bite to eat. Cute cozy atmosphere and friendly wait staff. Pricing is reasonable. They have many options when it comes to the menu. The drink menu is cute and has a wide variety. Due to covid a reservation would be a goodidea. They have reasonable seat spacing in the restaurant. There is no outdoor dining available.
Local spot, hole in the wall, graffiti bathrooms and the best meal I've had in New York City. Absolutely mind blowingly good. Deserves a Michelin star. I love CHIMU!!!
