They also have bocce ball here, which is nice addition to the bar. Aside from bar seating, they have super comfy couches. Only reason I didn't give five stars is because they don't serve food here, but they are really nice about letting you bring your own food in.
Nice, local bar that opens late until 4am (except Sundays until 2am). Unfortunately, the kitchen does close before 11pm though. We stumbled here to grab a drink. We enjoyed a table outdoors but then the large trucks passing through the street made it quite difficult to have a conversation. We switched over to the inside, which had a very cozy element to it. There's a fake fireplace with couches that makes you feel almost at home. Plus, there's a bocce ball court to some fun activity too. We had 3 rounds of drinks, which were about $12 each. I did find that they put too much gingerale in my Jameson, so opted for my Jameson on the rocks later on. It's a nice spot for a date or friends, especially if you get the couch seats.
Let me tell you I did not think I was going to love this place but BOY was I wrong. Our friends brought us into Floyds late one Friday night after exploring Brooklyn. They told us it was their favorite establishment and walkable to their place, so we trusted their opinion and to Floyds we went. We walked up and it seemed like this little hole in the wall bar. Not that we are above that by any means, actually we tend to gravitate toward them so we entered in. I quickly was waited on by the bartender and ordered 2 Tito's and Sodas and 2 Old Fashions. She gave me my drinks and we took a seat. Floyd's was busy, but comfortable. It was cold outside, but warm in there! It was lively and seemed like a local spot. I took a sip of my Tito's and Soda and it was DELICIOUS, like top 5 I've EVER had. My husband said the same about his Old Fashion. And, to top that off, the total was only $50 for all four of those drinks. That's reasonable considering what we were paying before. We hung around and finished the round and did not stop there. We actually ordered another round, because it was such a great atmosphere and we were having a great time. Highly recommend Floyd's if you're in the Brooklyn area and lookin for a relaxing night with good drinks.
Great atmosphere. Great beers. Great patrons. Nice place to play Pétanque. I have not tried the food but I expect it's bar food, obviously .
Very friendly place with kind of a low-key divey feel but in the best way possible. Dog friendly seating outside and super nice staff. I would definitely be a regular here if I didn't live across the country.
