Grindhaus - Brooklyn

Great little place. The staff was super friendly. i love the atmosphere We really enjoyed the food. They had several vegetarian and even vegan options. And a really charming garden terrace. We will definitely come back.

So happy to have Grindhaus back in action. Had dinner with a friend the other night. We split the celery root fritters, potato dumplings, shrimp buns and the burger. All delicious! Very reasonably priced. We sat on the back patio with space heaters and were very comfortable. The staff is friendly, passionate and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back and try the duck and waffle. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!

Grindhaus is now my favorite restaurant in red hook every item on the menu is handmade, unique and of course delicious. New items are always rotating in fresh biscuits, a flatbread, whatever the chef feels like delighting you with that day. The interior is tasteful and fun, one of the most unique bathrooms I’ve been in for sure. As far as food I highly recommend the burger, the biscuits and anything with bread. Plenty of tasty gluten free options as well.

Amazing food and service! The burger here is really good tastes like a classic but with a small twist that enhances the burger. The backyard is heated and was very warm on a cold day. And the service is exceptional,both warm and fun!!

Proprietor Erin Norris has rebooted her Red Hook mainstay with Chef Kevin Speltz. Inventive menu with vegan options. Great wine and saki and not to be missed is the newly opened covered backyard.
