Bidra med feedbackThe food was fresh and served within 10 minutes. The restaurant is air-conditioned, offers fantastic service, and is conveniently located next to a grocery store and a cinema. The prices are great, and the flavors of the dishes are amazing! The homemade bread was hot and flaky! I will definitely be returning—it's the best meal I've had in Bay Ridge!
I also ordered Rasmalai, which can be hit or miss, but we ended up throwing it away. One piece was broken in half, and we didn't want to risk getting sick. The only thing that was fresh in my order was the Garlic Naan, and it was decent. We ultimately decided to order pizza instead. Here’s a word of advice for the owner: please don’t label your food as Halal when it’s old and stale, as that cannot be Halal. Serving people expired food could lead to serious issues. Have some respect for your customers who are putting this in their mouths. If you can't serve decent food, it would be better to close down before someone gets sick.
The food at this restaurant was unacceptable and poorly prepared. While eating one of the chicken dishes, I even found a stapler pin in my mouth. This establishment poses a serious health risk. If I could rate it lower than one star, I absolutely would. It deserves to be shut down. I strongly advise you to stay away if you value your health!
The Chicken Vindaloo at this restaurant is fantastic, and they can make it extra spicy if you ask. The chicken is consistently tender, and the Naan bread is always fresh.
I've visited Indian and Pakistani restaurants all over NYC, but this one has been the most authentic in taste by far. The meat was delicious and fresh. I even reheated leftovers a few days later, and it was still just as tasty!
