Tava Turkish And Mediterranean Cuisine

This restaurant is a true neighborhood treasure. Our meal was delightful—everything was incredibly fresh. The portions are generous and perfect for sharing! We started with the mixed appetizer plate and ended up too full to finish our main courses. The pides were a standout! The staff was wonderful, too.

A group of friends gathered for dinner, and the food and service were quite good. However, the bartender fell short; his martinis were not up to par. I recommend sticking with the wine instead.

We are big fans of Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine, and we were thrilled to discover Tava! The decor was delightful, the service was attentive, and the food was fantastic! The appetizer platter we ordered was perfect for four people, and the main courses were generous as well. Plus, the noise level was just right for having a normal conversation. This restaurant is definitely a keeper!

Make sure to order the pide (tava special) or lahmacun. I also really enjoyed the babaganoush meze. However, I wasn't a big fan of the adana kebab, chicken shish, or rice pudding.

Order the lahmacun and enjoy it the authentic Turkish way: add a squeeze of lemon and some parsley, then roll it up to eat it like a sandwich—it's not meant to be eaten like a flat pizza!
