Pj's Coffee - Broussard

The staff in the morning is very friendly and accommodating! I enjoy having my latte with almond milk, while my husband prefers oat milk. We are happy that there are options available.

I have visited this restaurant three times for their beignets and coffee. The beignets are tasty but I found them to be extremely small for the price. I ordered a medium roast coffee but they were out and offered me lukewarm dark roast instead. I suggest either increasing the number of beignets per order or making them larger in size.

I inquired about ordering an iced matcha at the restaurant, and was told that they made it with milk. I asked if it could be made with water instead, and this prompted the cashier to get her manager. The manager then approached me and became defensive and rude, insisting that they only made the matcha with milk. I persisted and asked if it could be made with lemonade instead of milk. When the drink arrived, it had a very light color, leading me to question if it had milk in it. They assured me that it did not. It seems that their matcha powder may have contained milk or was meant for lattes, something they failed to mention. I found the drink unpleasant and ultimately threw it away. However, the beignets were enjoyable.

The girls working are friendly, but don't pay attention to what is ordered. I typically have to send my drink back every 2 out of 3 times. I order a very basic drink but with one pump of flavored syrup they either put the regular number in or they decide to use sugar free which is terrible. I keep thinking they will get it correct, but it's like they just make it however they would want it instead of how I ordered it. So frustrating when you pay almost $6.00 for a coffee.

I love that they offer lots of sugar free syrup options!
