Lola's Bistro - Brownsville

This is a great spot for brunch with plenty of seating, but it's best to make a reservation as it can get busy. The interior is lovely and the staff are friendly.

My children brought me here for my birthday. It is a very beautiful place with a lake and music. There was a light rain, which added to the ambiance. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I absolutely love this place! ??

My husband and I went to the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. It was very busy and noisy. We waited a long time to be seated because there was no one at the front. I had to call the restaurant to get someone to come and seat us. The staff was friendly, but our waiter never checked on us during our visit. The food was average. I did enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant.

Really good place with friendly staff. I ordered the chicken and waffles. It was good but a tad too sweet and seemed under-seasoned. I also tasted the steak fries and the chilaquiles con lengua de res and both were also good, but also under-seasoned. Steaks were cooked as ordered, but the parmesan fries didn't have much parmesan. Overall good experience.

Food was okay. Place is pretty. Service was horrible, had to wave down the waiter several times to get service. Prices are ridiculous. We were a party of four adults and three kids; we paid $200 plus tip.
