Umamido Bailli - Brussels

About Umamido Leuven.... worst Umamido experience ever. normally we Always go in antwerp. Last weekend in Leuven we took pork buns and gyoza's for appetizer. The buns were cold and the meat was all cooked out. terrible. the gyoza's were ok. Then we ordered the chefs ramen. Compared to our other visits the bowls were extremely empty. Normally we get 3 pieces of pork, in Leuven we only got 1 wich was cooked out. There was almost no broth in the bowl. Also the other toppings were very poor some onions, kimchi and halve an egg and in low quantity. On top, they used roquette ?? as topping...very strange... When we told the owner the quantity and quality was very low in comparison with other shops, they said they know it... that's all. No sorry, no compensation. When we showed our loyalty card for stamps, the didn't even know it. I left with a very bad feeling....Umamido Leuven... never again for me...

We had a great experience at Umamido Leuven! The Ramen tasted very rich, the kimchi was to die for and the pork was cooked to perfection. We even went back later to share another bowl of the goodness!

I feel sad and disappointed. I ordered a bowl Vegetarian Ramen. It is a cold winter today. I thought it would be a “warm(hot soup” but it is not warm at all, honestly. About the tofu, it is cold in my ramen. Vegetables/Food not generous enough and not worth for what you paid (16€ .

Suddenly another kind of chicken in the windows, very sorry, because the crispy chicken before that was cattle hotter and had more taste.

Fantastic food. The "special" windows was excellent. Also the gyoza and pork bun were lovely. Absolute raider in South!
