Muriel’s Gf Bakery, Llc - Bryan

I personally love to bake, but after developing a gluten allergy about 7 years ago, it's usually my only option. However, my sister heard about this bakery, and we decided to give it a try....OMG how amazing it is to have an alternative to making things myself or hoping that package options actually taste right. Once you get the scent of the bakery, you would never think it is gluten-free. And for anyone who is gluten-free for a reason and not a fad, it is amazing to feel more like a normal person again!

Spoke with the representative on the phone and asked to make an order that I said I was planning to pick up from them. The lady seemed pretty dismissive and rude even when I made a point to be very courteous and understanding. Was told at first that they weren’t willing to take an order this late in the week. Another lady from the back overheard and said they could make the order. I was then told that I would get a phone call when it was ready. Verified that they had my number and listened as they read back the order, but never got a call back. Called later after the store was closed (for the weekend) to see what went wrong and the lady said “yeah my colleague told me about that but we never saw you at the store.” Apparently they sold the order earlier at the store. Maybe their baked goods are ok, especially if you have a family member who is limited because of dietary restrictions, but their service,courtesy, and dependability are lacking.

They make the best gluten free items! Everything sweet and savory are delicious. No one will even be able to tell it’s gluten free!!

We ordered for the holiday and I had a long list. I wanted to buy more, but I somehow managed a shred of self-control. You see, I’ve had some of the goodies at some local shops and I knew Muriel’s creations are divine. I wish there was a sampler. However, I’ll just enjoy working my way through the menu. I’ll warn you… don’t get the chicken pot pie, the scones or the pound cake if you can’t control your cravings. You’re welcome. ?

We were searching for a gluten free bakery this morning and we were super lucky to find this gem! Traveling from MN, we found the bakery in a google search. It is a quaint little store outside of town with a bakery, gifts, plants, eggs, etc. It was a pleasure to meet the workers and volunteers. You are the best!! We walked out cinnamon rolls, cookies and brownies ?
