Bidra med feedbackI've eaten three times. Nice restaurant, good intentions. But the third time I had eaten there, the restaurant was full and loud, and the food was not as good as the first two times, and we were not good this afternoon. So I recommend this restaurant for couples, but beware of crowded evenings
I have to say Octopus gave me a very good impression, starting with the place and ending with desert. Although prices are above average (meal for 3 was between 300-400 ron) I definitely felt it was worth it. Serving was very pro, you felt like in a high class restaurant. I have to mention we went their to lunch during the week, so it was pretty much empty so that our meeting was enjoyable. Might be that when the place is crowded you do not feel that intimate anymore. Food was very good, tasty but the desert was top, I chose lemon-tart and would recommend it to anyone.
I tasted some st Jacques coquilles and grilled octopus, both delicious. the place is nice, a little bit stiff for my taste, there was some live music. the service was attentive but our waiter could not offer much of advice regarding choice of wine. it was one of the best seafood meals I had.

Memorable dinner last night in this little gem. Converted villa off CA Rosetti offered a 5 star meal at 3 star prices. It could be right out of Olivia Manning's Balkan Trilogy, except that I doubt they were serving Aperol spritzes in the 1930's. Great Romanian rose too, wish I'd gotten the name of the vineyard.
