Bidra med feedbackThis neoclassical building with baroque overtones dates back to when it became the home of the Bucharest National Opera (or Romanian national Opera. it also houses the major Ballet company in the country. The main Hall seats over spectators, while the Concert-Museum Foyer...is much smaller and is often used for chamber concerts. Both companies are very active, and the price ranges make opera and ballet available to the population at large (tickets between and lei). The company stages multiple performances of to operas per season, interspersed with concerts and ballet performances. Quality is very good and prices, modest.
I've been trying to visit this place recently and I was surprised to see that it was closed. Although they had a work schedule displayed on the entrance door but also on their website, it seems that the restaurant is no longer working.
