Bidra med feedbackThis was an embarrassing experience. I placed a pickup order with only three items and found that all three were incorrect and looked awful. There were multiple things missing, and the quality of the food wasn't great. What I ordered did not match whatwas on the online menu at all. I thought this was going to be a 5-minute trip to Chili's but turned into over 30 minutes reallyquickly because they couldn't figure out how to set me up to pay, and they took forever just to put some basic things in a boxthat they forgot to put in. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.
My boyfriend and I went to Chilis in Buda on a Friday night at 8:30 asking to sit at a booth in the bar area since we noticed 3 available in the bar . We gave our name and was told we would be called when a booth was available. After 15 minutes of waitinga second hostess appeared and asked the original host why we are sitting there waiting? She tells her something then looks ourway and smirks, almost laughing. Why we waiting we had idea, 5 minutes later with great restraint we waited to be helped by animmature little hostess! We are finally called to sit in the original empty booth we asked for 20 minutes earlier. We asked whywe had to wait and she said there were other people ahead of us. Which neither of us saw during are wait for a booth that wassitting empty the entire time! Seems to us that your hostess is playing games with the guests. We walked out and will neverconsider your establishment ever again.
It seems that we've been ordering incorrectly all this time. We used to share the trio as an appetizer, but our waitress informed us that each person needs to order their own appetizer. Also, there are no refills on the salsa. Despite that, the food was delicious.
Inflation has taken a toll on this restaurant, resulting in a noticeable decline in both the quantity and quality of food relative to its prices. I've never been a big fan of their protein dishes, but I can understand the appeal for those who enjoy mildly flavored food that's often a bit overcooked. The only real advantage, apart from having a place to eat, is its convenient location for meeting the in-laws during occasional weekend gatherings or after church or a sporting event.
The service was quite disappointing. Our server complained about other guests, neglected her tables, and it took around 20 minutes to receive our dessert. She attributed the delay to the kitchen, which might be partially true, but the restaurant was only about half full at the time. While the dinner was good, the chocolate molten cake lacked the chocolate shell topping and didn't have much molten filling. The chips were overly greasy. I wouldn't choose to return to this Chili's.
