Bidra med feedbackVery very bad experience. Super low quality, noisy tent with noisy bed. Super dirty towels (photo) Small blankets and not enough against the midnight cold (12 degrees summer)(photo) One morning we were awaken by a super loud machine cleaning the lake from 6:30am to 9am Even though the park is huge and there was just a few guests they wouldn’t let us staying in the premises without paying. Personnel not charismatic at all and most of the times rude Communication is poor You have no option but to go to the city, which is super far The shower is small and uncomfortable and messy The lake’s water is not clean at all. Extremely dirty because of the algaes. They don’t take care of it. The security guy from the front entrance pushed my friend and apparently started cursing him in Hungarian (very intimidating, taking out his glasses and fitting my friend in the eyes). By the way, my friend was renting the tent and was just trying to find out information about the shuttle. And guess what no one helped us Extremely expensive UPDATE Atilla one of the owners (the whole LUPA operation is ruled by many members of a family) he owner tried to exchange our previous honest review for fake reviews and told that for that he would be giving our money back. See the WhatsApp messages. UPDATE They’ve shut down the whole tent operation. And of course did not give our money back. You can expect this kind of things from the LUPA brand. Nothing more to add up.
Although I visited at the very beginning of the season (May 29), the place was clean and inviting with various sunbeds and a large beach strip, which affected the congestion in the place. It was spacious and not crowded, a variety of bars along the beach and the prices are very reasonable. There are many sports options here (sand soccer, volleyball, kayaking, saf, jumping in the water and more. I highly recommend coming here to experience a real beach with sand and a summery atmosphere.
When I asked for what the price includes, the counter said it includes all the sports for unlimited time and the beach activities. The price for a single adult on weekends is 4900 huf, which is not worth it compared to what the beach has to offer with out paying extra. The lockers were 500 huf, the bus from the train to the beach was another 200 huf per ride, so 400 huf both ways. When I entered the beach I noticed that for some services and such as the water slides and surfing the entry tucked was not covering. The things that were included were either out of use due to low maintenance, or for toddlers. The beach itself is decent, you can lay there and enjoy the sand. However, don’t be surprised to fine micro plastic and dirt, both there and in the water. I realized that the sports that the counter lady referred to are the Spinning and Weight lifting contest which seem to have a good vibe, but I just came to relax so working out wasn’t on my check list. If there activities are something you fancy, go ahead and visit, Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend.
We had to wait 56 minutes for the Budakalász Lupa lake bus, which normally leaves every 20 minutes, no comment. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1
To go there on foot, is a complete pain in the backside. The beach is ok, but the water is freezing cold. The normal entrance fee is 1000huf, but for the premium you have to pay 3000, and the lake is cold everywhere. This time of the year thats just ridiculous. A well sized sunbed is 5000huf extra for 2 it is well enough. So keeping all in mind, i would better go to aquaworld, because it is 6500 for a whole day with extras like sauna and so on. For this price, it doesn't worth the money. Just to avoid misunderstanding, it looks good, pretty cool at first sight, there is a number of staff, they are well mannered, but the water temperature and the overpricing pushes it to the bottom end. The maximum number of people actually in the lake, was no more than 10 person at peak times. So it is cold... freakin' cold. Not to mention that the place is adverised as a sandy beach, but it is just valid on the premium side. On the standard one, yes, you'll walk on sand, but as soon as you hit the water, the bed is made of rocks. Sharp rocks. Everything but pleasant.
