Bidra med feedbackI stopped in to have a little birthday lunch (being a local), hoping my experience would be better than the last 4 we’ve had here (wanting to give more chances, Incase it was a rare bad night). I should have known from the start that it would end up as bad as the others….first off, I was the first person at the Host check-in inside the front door, but instead of the hostess asking me if I was first, she asked the 2 guys who came in after me who were standing further inside the waiting area (not near their check-in location. Then after I was seated (at a booth next to the same guys who got seated ahead of me), the waitress passed by me saying she would be right with me as she stopped to take the orders of the 2 guys in that next booth. Once I did get the $20 fish and chips I ordered, I noticed that the 4 small pieces of fish were quite small compared to how they’ve previously served this meal, and the steak fries were lukewarm at best! We’d been going quite a bit during the later Covid era when there was not much staff, they had the previous menu that had better options on it with lower prices, and supported them during those difficult times. Now it appears they’ve raised the prices a lot more, rehired more staff that seem to still take quite some time before checking back in throughout the meal, taken away some of the better food items that they used to have, and overall seem to give such a lackluster quality with higher prices.Time to give up on this local spot as they seem to only care about catering to tourists who won’t usually be back like locals will. They don’t deserve our hard earned money any longer, after many chances.
One of the best breweries I have been to in SoCal. The place is massive with plenty of seating, even if the brewery is packed you still would not feel as if it was. The food was surprisingly delicious. We had the bbq pizza and chicken wings. Definitely my favorite I've had in any brewery. The beer selection is good they have local craft beers as well as beers from different breweries in California. They also have a beer flight option so you can choose from a variety of selection. They even have a merchandise shop in the building that sells everything from sweaters to bottle openers and even beer to go. The atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly and attentive. I will definitely be visiting this place again when I am back in town.
Went to Firestone Walker Brewing for the first time on Thursday 8/10/20. We picked up our allocation, and had a delicious meal and of course a glass of beer. I recommend the Juicy Remains. The service was good, the people friendly and the atmosphere fun. Go Firestone Walker !?
So went out with some co-workers while in LA and we went to the FWB there and loved it. They had a QR code on the table and you could order and close out your tab from your phone. The food and beers were very good. And they had a very good setup with a lot of outdoor seating and games and such. This location has a different feel. Different doesn't mean bad. Actually it's pretty nice. However, the food wasn't as good. I had the broccolini at the other location and it had the same smokey flavor as the Brussels sprouts. This time it tasted like plain ole broccoli without any flavor or salt. Sucks to compare but sorry the other location was better from a food and service perspective. I'm not saying the service was totally bad here, but the other location exceeded expectations. Overall, not bad and I would definitely come back.
We loved visiting the tap room in the middle of our long drive from LA to Paso Robles! Such a great experience. The bartender was so kind and chatted with us about a few places to visit on our trip. The beer was GREAT!
