Bidra med feedbackDecent bar cafe on a corner old wood and big glass windows. There are a number of such bars in the San Telmo area such as Bar El Federal and this is a decent spot for a coffee or a beer. 1 beer,...1 coffee and 2 empanadas were $190 ARG.
Looking for an atmospheric bar that hasn't changed in 50 years. There are two here, one is this and the other is directly opposite. Fabulous place and well worth visiting, especially as it features in Marc Evans' film on Patagonia.
My husband and I stayed in San Telmo for 5 nights and had drinks here every afternoon after exploring the city. The wine is reasonably priced and gooood. I liked the vibe. Didn't eat here so I can;t comment on the food really but it smelt delicious.
I stumbled upon this place after moving to San Telmo a few months back. Just a great vibe, good cafe con leche, and a varied group of folks dropping by all day. A charming time warp, in the best way possible. The waiters are attentive, and tolerate many gringo transplants such as myself with humor and patience. Four stars....I keep going back!
Really nice traditional bar close to Parque Lezama in San Telmo. You can sit outside with a nice view of the park. I especially liked to go there to watch Argentine football. Great place!
