You want a Home cooked Puerto Rican meal this is the place! Great service too!

While it's understandable to have concerns about cleanliness and mask compliance during COVID, I truly appreciate having access to such an authentic Hispanic bodega and was grateful to try their food. There's no real dining area, so the meals are to-go. I took mine to Riverside Park and enjoyed it on a cool summer evening. Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit, especially to sample the cassava. Just be prepared for a casual, divey atmosphere!

I stopped by today for some pastellios, and they were absolutely delicious. They were fresh, large, and not greasy at all.

They had pastelillos in the warmer, but the staff offered to fry up some fresh ones, and they were fantastic! The shell was light and flaky, and the meat was perfectly seasoned with a delicious blend of traditional spices, not just salt. The cheese also tasted like it was of good quality.
