Bidra med feedbackQuite simply, mythos is the best of the best on elmwood. Welcoming and friendly staff, phenomenal food, great service. My go to brunch spot for any occasion. Ask for Dino and he will give you a five star experience. Great stories and a welcoming homey atmosphere.
The menu text looks better than the food. The food hs the look of a 1970s diner and is just bland. The spinakopita was mediocre, lacking cheese with undercooked dough. The decor is outdated and the seat bench in the middle is off-putting. Won 't return.
Definitely seems like a local favorite. The breakfast was good. Standard. But they cooked my eggs Benedict a bit too long and still served them a step before hard boiled eggs. The blueberries for my waffles were not fresh, was very bummed out about that for sure. The food was still was good overall. The price is also good. I may have to adjust my version of excellence but this is diner level food being perceived as a tad better … but then again this is only one review of over 800 reviews. I also would gave liked a quieter place to relax and eat. But there were ear penetrating people yelling across the table. Obviously this is a local family treasure.
I moved away from Buffalo about 6 years ago, but am back in town from time to time for work. I was back in Elmwood Village and went to Mythos for lunch. It was always a favorite spot back in the day, and it definitely did not disappoint! The food is as good as ever.
From the greeters, to the wait staff, to the owners, everyone is pleasant, helpful, and attentive. The food is always delicious and on point.Been dining here for years. And will continue to do so. Love
